Review: Film review - Wimbledon (2004) - Well it was inevitable that a film centred around Wimbledon would one day come to pass and this is it. There's some comedy but really this is about romance. Kirsten Dunst and Paul Bettany star, Dunst plays the young talented womens tennis player and Bettany plays the old, about to retire English tennis player. They accidentally come together at the start of Wimbledon and a relationship forms. At first just relaxed but as time passes more serious.

There's a lot of nonsense to get through before the end so hang in there. The actual tennis isn't that bad but the plot leads to a player ranked outside the top 100 reaching the final. Not something that happens at Wimbledon.

It's not bad and to be honest its not good, usually I'd rank it five out of ten but its slightly better than that so it scrapes a six.
